Network privacy & conduct
Your private workspace
ChatGPT sign-in identifies you to this portal using a site-specific user identifier and email. We store your business profile, task references and collaboration briefs in the network database to provide the services you request. Your workspace is associated with your own signed-in account; other members cannot access it.
Use private reference codes in tasks. Do not enter client names, identity numbers, tax PINs, medical information, financial statements or passwords. The public financial tools process amounts in the browser; those results are not added to this workspace.
Client input updates
A member can create a private link for one information request. Anyone holding that link can read the request and submit one progress update, so share it only with the intended client. Links expire after 30 days or when replaced. The client confirms sharing with the named member before submission. Updates are visible to that member; no client is subscribed to marketing and no filing or payment is confirmed by the update. Deleting the task also deletes its update link and response.
Directory publication
Your business profile is private unless you request publication and Know Your Numbers approves it. A public listing includes business name, role, area, service description, public website, check summaries and review dates. Account email, registration evidence and task records are not part of the public directory response. Editing the profile withdraws a previous listing until another review.
Review and conduct
Applicants must accurately describe their identity, authority and services, keep credentials current, protect client information, avoid misleading claims and respect each client’s choice of provider. Evidence is reviewed by a person. Checks describe the scope and date of verification; they do not guarantee honesty, financial soundness or service quality. We may request changes, suspend a listing or ask for renewal. Contact us to challenge a review or report a concern.
Service requests and introductions
Know Your Numbers can review your submitted profile, directory application and collaboration briefs. Downloaded campaign drafts and invitations are not automatically sent or published. Paid media, final campaign production and professional services require their own agreed scope. Referral permission and optional marketing consent are separate; joining this network does not subscribe clients to marketing.
Retention, access and correction
Keep saved information current and delete completed task records when you no longer need them. Profile and review records are retained while needed to operate the membership and handle review or conduct enquiries. You can request a copy, correction, withdrawal of a public listing or closure of your account by contacting us; records may be retained where legally required. Hosting, authentication and communication providers process data to provide their respective services, including possible processing outside South Africa.
Questions and complaints
Contact simba.nyatsambo@sanlam4u.co.za to request access, correction or deletion, or to report a directory concern. You may also approach South Africa’s Information Regulator. For regulated advice, confirm the responsible professional’s identity, role, authorisation and separate privacy terms.
